:new: at the bottom of the journal :new:

Hi all, :iconOlovni: here with the news.

Wargame Underground has officially become our home away from home, since i've see lots of members from here joining that forum there (and vice-versa). For those of you that missed the journal last time, www.wargameunderground.com also know as The Underground, is a wargaming forum wich started its existence a month or so ago. You can find many interesting gaming and modeling articles there, as well as a community which is more than willing to help out anyone with our little hobby.

Also...
:iconigorvet: has opened his own group, called :iconart-hammer: dedicated soley for artist who draw imagination from the warhammer worlds. They are a great group and affiliate and we wish them all the best of luck with collecting all the cool art there is here on dev. And, we wish to help out as well. :iconigorvet: has asked that anyone wishing to help out with the group can get a commission work done by him for a nominal fee. The idea is to collect enough money to give the group premium membership and to have all the cool features we have here. So, whoever is interested in helping out, go to the groups page and read for more details.

That is all for now, in the words of a soon-to-be-dead marine:
"Stay frosty people"
;)

IMPORTANT!!!

While i prepare the minis for the end of the contest and make polls, you have untill the polls are up to submit yor proof photos (for the newly painted part of the contest). If there are no proof photos, entires won't be accepted. No, they won't be moved to the pre-painted part, they will simply be REJECTED. Given this, i will post the polls on saturday early morning.
That means - CHECK THE GALLERY OF EYE OF TERROR WHETER YOU SUBMITTED YOUR PROOF PHOTO OR NOT.
that is all ;)

After the last (and very dissapointing) contest it's time to get back on track and schedule, so having the most votes contest 'Veterans' is now standing at attention.

Now then what is a veteran? Vets are the best a force can call apon to get a job done, for some armies it's easier to destinguish but for a genrall rule of thumb is that any eilte choice should be a Veteran type unit though this is not the only case.(you'll need to read your fluff boys and girls.)

This contest will have three catagoers this time "painted minis" "art" & "prvoven unit"

General Contest rules:
-Only new submissions can be entered into the contest. Submissions made during the months prior will not be accepted for the contest, the contest ends on the 23rd of may.
-There are three categories in which you can compete: the miniature category and the drawing category and the special category 'Proven unit'. Each person can submit to all the categories, but only one submission per category!

Rules: Miniature Category
-Your vets must be between the minimum and maximum unit size allowed by their respective codex. And not strictly eiltes nor troops any eilte single model may also be entered.
Rules: Drawing Category
-For the drawing portion of the contest, the piece you wish to submit must depict hard fighting warriors, in any setting at any stage of any size or type.
Rules: Proven unit
-What is a proven unit? They're your go to guys, the unit that you use to kick butt when things get tough, take a shot of your most dependable unit and give a epic tale of how they've pulled your tail out of the fire.
